Kiddie Korner is a child-centered program. We systematically take a child through his developmental stages in a carefully planned curriculum designed to challenge the child in all areas. Our primary goal is to let each and every child know he or she is loved and respected for him or herself. Early childhood research indicates that enhancing self-image and teaching socialization skills should be the focus of preschool education.

 

Two programs for children ages 2 1/2 to 5

 

First-class Foundations

A three-day-a-week class  for 2 1/2 to 3 year olds. An introduction to a school environment, it offers a relaxed, self-esteem-building atmosphere where language development, socialization and small motor skills are stressed through stories, art, games, and music arranged around daily themes.

Time:    Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00am to noon

 

Pre-Kindergarten

A three-day-a-week program for children who will be entering kindergarten the next fall. It offers a school experience for children the year before they enter kindergarten. Language development, social interaction, positive self-esteem, and pre-reading and math skills are part of the day which includes music, art and gross motor activities.

Time:    Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00am to noon
