Jr. High summer mission trip 08’
Flemington, w.v.
July 16th-18th
Don’t let this summer go by without having an awesome experience in mission work. Learn what it is to participate with God in His mission to the world through Jesus Christ.
· What &Where? Our annual mission trip to the Light of Life Church and Appalachian Enrichment Center in Flemington, W.V. Pastored by Tim & Rosa Bolyard.
· Who? Junior High youth, adult leaders, and a few senior youth as counselors.
· When? Wednesday, July 16th- Friday, July 18th.
· How Much? $35 per person. Covers all meals, travel, & lodging.
· What will we do? In an age-to-work appropriate relationship, we will help this small church clean a big building to prepare for over 100 missionaries who will be staying there after we leave. We will do cleaning (dust mop, wet mop, sweeping, vacuuming, organizing, etc…). We will also spend a day swimming and cooking out at Tygart Lake, a beautiful and majestic lake nestled in the Appalachian Mtns. With all of this, we’ll play games, eat very well, star gaze, and listen for the voice and call of God through studying His Word.
· Accommodations? We’ll be staying in different rooms in the church and sleeping on clean mattresses. We have access to very nice modern showers in separate locker rooms. We will eat better than very well.
· Why? Because we are called to be the hands and the feet of Jesus Christ and proclaim Him as Lord through blessing and serving one another with love and zeal!
· RSVP by Sunday, June 29th.
